Instead of a keep, the castle has a double-winged shield wall, the apex of which points toward the rocky massif. A battlement walk runs along the shield wall, which can be accessed via a recently constructed steel staircase. The castle complex is fully accessible and worth a visit. Beautiful castle ruins with a great view. Often well attended on weekends because the castles are well known and the hiking trails on the castle tour are not particularly demanding. Ideal for children.
