Gylen Castle was originally built in 1582; however what you see now is the result of a huge restoration effort from Historic Scotland and the Clan McDougall. Located on the edge of the sea, this ruin is one of the iconic attractions of Kerrera.

Moy Castle on the beach at Lochbuie is the ancient home of Clan Maclaine. Built in the 15th century it was a three storey tower with a garrett and a well on the ground floor. It was abandoned in 1752 when Lochbuie house was built. You can visit and walk around the tower but there is no public access inside.

Historic castle ruins with a great view. The hill in front makes a great picnic spot with views of the castle and countryside.

A nice view and nice rest area with a tearoom. There is also something to eat. We weren't in the palace/castle itself.

Glengorm Castle, also known as Castle Sorn, is a 19th-century country house on the Isle of Mull, Scotland.Located in Mishnish, 6 kilometres (4 mi) northwest of Tobermory at the end of a dead end road, the house is protected as a Category B listed building.
