The overnight stay costs 8 euros per person. There are toilets and hot showers as well as garbage cans and huts for cooking, in which smaller tents can also be set up. Kayaks are available for rent for three hours. Kayaks for one person cost 15 euros, double kayaks 25 euros for three hours.

The hike to the Mirador Ventisquero Colgante in Parque Nacional Queulat takes you through a dense, green forest to a viewpoint that offers a spectacular view of the hanging glacier and the waterfall below. The sight of the ice slowly melting and the water cascading down into the depths is truly impressive - an example of the powerful yet fragile nature of Patagonia. The trail is about 3 km long and although it is steeply uphill in places, the tour is easily doable for hikers with average fitness. It is worth starting early because the park closes in the afternoon. Good preparation is important, especially since access is regulated by reservation through the CONAF system and the park is closed on Mondays. What I particularly liked about this hike is the mix of deep forest, bubbling streams and then the sudden, dramatic opening of the landscape with the glacier in the background. For nature lovers, it is a hike that combines both the tranquility and the raw power of nature. A little tip: If you are traveling by bike, you can easily park it at the parking lot and enjoy the rest of the way on foot

The campsite in the Reserva Nacional Tamango is the perfect place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Patagonian landscape after a hike. In the middle of the green, surrounded by rolling hills and scattered trees, this site not only offers a wonderful natural backdrop, but also a solid infrastructure: hot showers, clean water and sanitary facilities are available. For little money you can pitch your tent here and use the ideal starting point for hikes in the area. What I particularly liked is the relaxed atmosphere. After a long day of hiking, you can rest on the spacious meadows or relax in the shade of the trees. The simple but practical facilities of the campsite make the stay pleasant without having to forego the proximity to untouched nature. A tip: The area is not only suitable for hikers, but also for bird watching and other nature experiences - a true paradise for nature lovers
