Built in the 9th century, it served as an important defensive and administrative center, and today you can see clearly outlined earthen ramparts and moats. The place is interesting for cyclists looking for peaceful routes with views of the Narew Valley, and a short walk around the settlement allows you to feel the atmosphere of old times.

The Chapel of St. Barbara in Baciuty is a historic Orthodox branch church belonging to the parish of St. Nicholas in Topilec. It was built in the late 18th century as a Uniate church, and since 1839 it has served as an Orthodox church. The building has been entered into the register of monuments, which emphasizes its exceptional historical and architectural value. It is an interesting place on the map of the region, worth visiting to learn about the local cultural heritage.
