Instead of reflections in the water, snow, ice, and the surrounding white slopes dominate the scene. It's ideal for a peaceful winter hike with postcard-perfect panoramas and plenty of fresh mountain air.

The largest hut of the German Alpine Club gave us a very hospitable welcome. The accommodation and food are great!

The Rappenseehütte is one of the largest DAV huts in the area. The view of the surrounding peaks is definitely worth it. Depending on how you want to climb, you can enjoy attractive peaks with wonderful climbing and hiking passages.
