The trail via Mala Osojnica to Velika Osojnica is a good choice for a longer hike. It's about a 45-minute walk along a steep forest path to Mala Osojnica, at an elevation of 685 meters, and then another 20 minutes to Velika Osojnica at 756 meters. Awesome views of Lake Bled and its surroundings, the Karawanks, the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, and the Ljubljana Basin await you. You may recognize this view as the subject of one of Bled's most famous panoramic photographs.

Lake Bled is located in the Upper Carniola region (Gorenjska) near the spa town of Bled at the foot of the Pokljuka Plateau. The lake lies at an elevation of 475 m. It's easy to walk around the lake, and there are plenty of places to stop for refreshments! The cream cakes are an absolute must! During the summer months, it's very busy, especially on weekends! Cycling around the lake is not recommended!

Otočec Castle was built on one of the islands of the Krka River. It is the only moated castle in Slovenia.

Between 1921 and 1932, the park was redesigned by Joze Plečnik. Plečnik designed the wide Jakopič Promenade, which ends at the staircase in front of Tivoli Palace (home of the International Centre for Graphic Arts). Today, the promenade is also known for photography exhibitions.

Great place to stop and rest in the park, maybe even feed the ducks if that's your thing. The Otočec castle also has a cafe so you can get some refreshments.
