The 'Paul Revere Park' is located in the Charlestown district of Boston on the Charles River. The park is connected to the 'North Point Park' in Cambridge by a long pedestrian bridge, the 'North Bank Bridge'. From the bridge, which goes under the Zakim Bridge, you have an excellent view of the Charles River, that spectacular bridge and the 'North Bridge Draw One Bridge'.

Through this park you can reach the weir, a fun alternative to the bridges to cross the river. Of course you can also take a break here and enjoy the panorama.

An exciting alternative to the bridge. The paths are quite narrow, so you should be careful with oncoming traffic. There is also a nice view of the bridges.

Paul Revere Park, a five-acre park along the Charles River, has walking paths and great views of the Zakim Bridge. Opened in 1999, it features a large lawn, playground, and informal performance area. Paul Revere Park connects to North Point Park via the North Bank Bridge and is part of the Mass Central Rail Trail and East Coast Greenway. Dog-friendly and picturesque, the park also includes public art, picnic tables, and is open 24 hours a day a day with benches, drinking fountains, and lighting.

There is a ban on bicycles in the park (skateboarding is also not allowed). So you either have to ride around or walk your bike. If you use the BlueBikes, you can easily park your bike and take another one after visiting the park.

If you don't want to use the bridge to cross the water, you can also walk over the lock. It doesn't seem to be used much and as long as the gates are closed, you can quickly get to the other bank.

From here, you can enter Cutler Park Reservation, an area of over 700 acres of parkland that stands to protect the largest remaining freshwater marsh on the Charles River. Whilst this parkland is accessible to bikes, the ground can be uneven and may only be suited to mountain bikes. Alternatively, you can jump off your bike and have an explore around before continuing on your journey.
