The Salem Creek Greenway offers a scenic route perfect for cycling enthusiasts. Following the winding path of Salem Creek, this trail presents a blend of natural beauty and city vistas. Cyclists can enjoy traversing through wooded areas, expansive green fields, and quaint bridges along the Greenway.

This is a really nice urban green-way that passes right through Winston-Salem. The views of the city are nice and there are several nice wooden bridges that you cross while on it. It is perfect for cycling, running or just walking.

This lovely walking, cycling, and running path connect Corpening Plaza in the center of Winston-Salem with Old Salem, the Greenway and the YWCA. It is a perfect for getting a little exercise on but also as an alternative to taking a car to visit some of these places. This section is nice and shady and runs between the Tar Branch creek and Old Salem Road.

Here you will find a really nice bridge that passes over Salem Creek. Although there is a trail that runs along the creek it is not often that you get a good view of it due to the thick growth around it. This spot really lets you look up and down the creek. There is also a plaque right before the bridge explaining where it gets its name and some of the history of the area. Very interesting.

This is a very nice greenway that passes through different neighborhoods and allows you to stay off the main roads and still ride your bike. It is a great way to get from High Point to Jamestown or even all the way to Greensboro by connecting to the Bicentennial Greenway.

This nice mettle and wood bridge allows you to cross the East Fork of the Deep River or the High Point Lake without riding in traffic. There are nice views of the lake from here.

With unique views and bridge crossings, High Point Lake near Jamestown Recreation Park is a great spot to enjoy a run outside of Jamestown.

This is a really nice wooden bridge for bikes, walking and running. It allows you to stay off the road and stay on trails. It is dedicated to a former City Counsel Member who was very influential in this area. There is a plaque explaining more at the beginning of the bridge. The entrance to the YWCA is right across the bridge.
