Very close to the road is the Cueva de la Mora, where there is a legend that says that there lived a Moorish woman who went there never to be seen again, angry after the discourtesy of a shepherd.

This is one of the defensive towers in this area, built in the 10th century by the Muslims during the reconquest, dominating the alfoz area of Talamanca. You can get to it through several paths from the town of El Vellón.
