Nemours Castle was built starting in the 12th century. In 1926, the castle was listed as a historic monument in France. Very good bike path, paved most of the way, nicely flat and hard the rest of the time too. Very wild, only a few houses around, very quiet, you can do 100 km on this towpath without leaving it
