Etwa 30 Jahre nach ihrer Errichtung, erweiterte man sie um ein Sägewerk und eine Dampfmaschine. Diese Erweiterungen wichen über die Jahre fortschrittlicheren Technologien. Die Mühle blieb aber erhalten und wurde im späten 20. Jahrhundert zwei Mal restauriert.
Seit 1990 ist die Mühle wieder ab und an in Betrieb und mahlt ausschließlich mit Windkraft.
