    Ein schöner breiter, zweistufiger Wasserfall. Die Wanderroute ist schön und es ist kein besonderes können zum Begehen erforderlich.

    Wasserabweisendes, rutschfestes Schuhwerk zum Begehen der Route empfohlen, da man einige schöne, kleine bis mittlere Bäche durchquert. Bei Regen kann der Fels vor dem Wasserfall rutschig sein!

    Hivjufossen ist ein 250 Meter hoher Wasserfall in Hovet, Buskerud, Norwegen.

    Einige Kilometer vom Zentrum des Dorfes Hovet entfernt, in Richtung Aurland, befindet sich ein Wanderweg zu den Hivjufossen. Der Wasserfall ist eine Touristenattraktion und kann erst nach 40 bis 60 Minuten Klettern erreicht werden. Hivjufossen besteht aus einem oberen und einem unteren Wasserfall, die durch das Wasser des Flusses Storekvelvi entstehen, der vom Hardangervidda-Nationalpark zum Hallingskarvet-Nationalpark fließt. Es wird von anderen Flüssen und Bächen verbunden, die in Richtung des Flusses Storåne in Hovet fließen.
