DNT Krækkja Mountain Lodge, also known as Krækkjahytta, is a historic and welcoming staffed tourist hut nestled at 1161 meters above sea level on the vast Hardangervidda plateau in Hol municipality, Buskerud, Norway.     Bewirtete DNT-Hütte auf der Hardangervidda. Wohl ehemals die erste bewirtete Hütte, die der DNT errichtet hat (1879). Krækkja ist vom Rv 7 recht leicht zu erreichen (etwa 1,5 Stunden von Fagerheim oder Halne) und eignet sich super als Start (oder Ziel) einer Rundtour durch die Hardangervidda.

    Die DNT Fjällstation Krækkja ist während der Saison eine Vollverpflegungsherberge in der man Schlafen und Frühstück und Abendbrot sowie Tagsüber auch diverse andere Sachen, z. B. Kuchen/Waffeln, Suppe erhalten kann. Aber auch eine Pause kann man hier gut machen.
    Krækkja ist die älteste Hütte auf der Hardangervidda und wurde 1879 eröffnet. Die Hütte liegt wunderschön am See Storkrækkja mit Blick auf Hallingskarvet. Hierher kommen Familien mit Kindern, Rentner, Hüttenwanderer und Tagesausflügler.
