    Mit 780 Fuß ist Mount Battie eine kürzere Wanderung im Camden Hills State Park. Der Gipfel wird von Camden aus über einen sanften Pfad oder von Lincolnville aus über einen Pfad erreicht, der ziemlich steil beginnt und sanft endet, was ihn zu einer guten Tour für die ganze Familie macht. Genießen Sie oben die Aussicht über den nahe gelegenen Camden Harbour, die Penobscot Bay und an klaren Tagen sogar die Cadillac Mountains im Acadia National Park!

    Auf dem Gipfel des Mt. Battie steht ein Steinturm, der im Jahr 1921 von der Mt. Battie Association gebaut wurde. Zuvor stand seit Ende des 19. Jhdt. ein Hotel auf dieser Fläche mit der Bezeichnung Summit House. Der Zugang erfolgte vom Norden über eine Kutschenstraße, die später zu einer asphaltierten Straße bis zum Gipfel mit Parkplatz ausgebaut wurde.
    Auf dem Gipfel und dem Turm haben wir bei blauem Himmel eine herrliche Aussicht über die West Penobscot Bay und den Camden Harbor.
