    Das Mikó-Schloss mit regelmäßigem geometrischem Grundriss und italienischen Bastionen wurde im Stil der Spätrenaissance erbaut und ist das älteste und bedeutendste historische Denkmal der Stadt Miercurea Ciuc . Es trägt den Namen seines Erbauers, Francisc Mikó (1585 bis 1635). Der Bau des Schlosses begann im Frühjahr 1623, zehn Jahre nachdem der Besitzer Oberhauptmann der Szeklersitze Ciuc, Gheorgheni und Casin geworden war. Heute befindet sich in dem Gebäude das Szekler-Museum.
