    Das 1687 erbaute Tor der Auserwählten ist der älteste noch in seiner ursprünglichen Form erhaltene Teil der Burganlage und diente als Haupteingang zum Burggelände. Es wurde vom Baumeister Consilio Milius für den Burgbesitzer Baltazar Promnitz erbaut und ersetzte ein Torhaus aus dem 15. Jahrhundert mit einer Zugbrücke über den Burggraben. Es beherbergte die Unterkünfte der Burgwache.

    Das Tor verfügt über ein Steinportal mit Wappen der Familie Promnitz und einer lateinischen Inschrift mit einem Chronostich, der das Baudatum verrät.
