    Die 1040 von der Abtei Saint-Nicolas d'Angers gegründete Kirche Saint-Genulf et Saint-Charles du Thoureil ist ein lebendiges Zeugnis der Dorfgeschichte.

    Der langgestreckte Glockenturm aus dem 12. Jahrhundert trotzte den zahlreichen Überschwemmungen der Loire, die das Gebäude beschädigten, und trotzte den Elementen.

    Die Kirche wurde im 19. Jahrhundert wiederaufgebaut, nachdem sie im 18. Jahrhundert verlassen worden war.

    Heute zeichnet sich die Kirche durch ihre geschnitzten hölzernen Reliquiare aus der Renaissance aus, ein Erbe der benachbarten Abtei Saint-Maur-de-Glanfeuil, und durch ihre modernen Buntglasfenster, die 2019 von Tahar Ben Jelloun und dem Glasmachermeister Philippe Brissy geschaffen wurden.
