    Der Bahnhof Rio Claro wurde 1897 eröffnet und war viele Jahre lang die Endstation der Linie, bis dreizehn Jahre später der Bahnhof Lídice eröffnet wurde.
    Zwischen 1946 und 1956 hießen die Stadt und der Bahnhof Itaverá. Anschließend stellten sie ihren ursprünglichen Namen wieder her.
    Das heutige Bahnhofsgebäude ist nicht das Original aus dem Jahr 1897. Das Original bestand aus Holz und befand sich im Jahr 1909 (siehe unten) in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Ein Neubau, der im Jahr 2003 noch existierte, wurde später, zu einem unbestimmten Zeitpunkt und nach 1922 errichtet.
