    Die St.-Jakobs-Kathedrale in Riga ist die katholische Bischofskirche und stammt aus dem 13. Jahrhundert. Sie wurde im Stil der Frühgotik aus Backstein erbaut und besitzt mit ihrem 92 m hohen Turm den einzigen vollständig erhaltenen mittelalterlichen Kirchturm Rigas mit Spitze. Die Kirche war im Laufe der Geschichte sowohl katholisch als auch evangelisch und ist heute ein bedeutendes religiöses und architektonisches Wahrzeichen der Stadt.
