    Der Botanische Garten der Universität Warschau wurde 1818 gegründet und ist einer der ältesten botanischen Gärten Polens, der drittälteste. Es befindet sich in Aleje Ujazdowskie 4 und war zunächst mit der Medizinischen Fakultät Warschau und später mit der Königlichen Universität Warschau und der heutigen Universität Warschau verbunden. Im 19. Jahrhundert erfuhr der Garten zahlreiche Veränderungen, unter anderem wurde seine Fläche nach dem Novemberaufstand verkleinert, und nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde er wieder aufgebaut. Heute ist der Botanische Garten mit seinen reichen Pflanzensammlungen eines der wichtigsten Wissenschafts- und Bildungszentren.
