    Die Kirche wurde an der Wende vom 13. zum 14. Jahrhundert erbaut. Die erste Erwähnung stammt aus dem Jahr 1337. Bei der Renovierung im Jahr 1796 wurde das Gebäude verputzt, das südromanische Portal zugemauert und die meisten Fensteröffnungen umgestaltet. In den Jahren 1825–1826 wurde an der Nordseite eine neoromanische Backsteinsakristei angebaut, 1846. von Süden kam ein Anbau hinzu. Die Holzausstattung der Kirche wurde 1945 zerstört, als sie von sowjetischen Soldaten als Brennholz verwendet wurde.
