    Es gab die einmalige Gelegenheit die freistehenden Kirchtürme von Hjo, Karlsborg & Tibro zu besichtigen. Norra Fågelås haben wir nicht besucht. Der Ransberger Turm wurde zwischen 1383 und 1407 erbaut, mit 24 Metern ist er der höchste und wiegt 55 Tonnen. Wenn die Glocken erschallen, soll man an die Inschrift der großen Glocke denken: Lebe nicht sicher, bald wird sich dein Grab öffnen, gehe weise, denke an das Ende". Tiefgründige Worte und ach so unvergesslich.
