Sehr schöne Brücke aus dem 13. Jahrhundert.

A Ponte Maceira holds deep historical roots, particularly as a crucial stop on the Camino de Finisterre. The iconic medieval bridge, known as "A Ponte Vella," was built on older Roman foundations, with its current structure largely dating back to the 12th or 13th century and significant reforms in the 18th century. Legends suggest a miraculous collapse of the bridge to protect Saint James's disciples from Roman soldiers. The village itself is recognized as an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC) and one of the "Most Beautiful Towns in Spain."
