    Die St. Johannes-der-Täufer-Kirche in Wortel ist eine pseudobasilische Kreuzkirche mit barocker Kirchenausstattung aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Die letzte Restaurierung zwischen 1932 und 1937 unter der Leitung des Architekten Stan Leurs prägte das heutige Erscheinungsbild der Kirche. Er ließ die neugotische Innenausstattung übermalen und setzte eigene, dezente Akzente.
