    Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts mussten sich Protestanten und Katholiken Kirchen teilen; Deshalb ließ Henri de la Tour d'Auvergne 1593 eine protestantische Kirche errichten. Nach der Aufhebung des Edikts von Nantes ging es an die Katholiken über, die es unter der Leitung von Robert de Cotte wieder zu einer eigenen Kirche machten: De Cotte fügte den großen Rundchor hinzu.
