    paderne ist eine gemeinde von albufeira,dort kann man etwas ausserhalb gelegen,eine mächtige ruine(castelo de paterne)erbaut zur maurenzeit besichtigen,ein besonders schöner wanderweg fürt von ortsausgang vorbei an einen brunnen mit waschhaus zur burg mit grossartigen weitblick und von dort aus weiter entlang des ribero de ouateira bis zur sog. römischen brücke und einer wassermühle.
