    Auf halber Höhe des Weges zum Gipfel des Vanderwhacker Mountain stoßen Sie auf die Vanderwhacker Cabin. Die Hütte ist ein Überbleibsel der alten Rangerhütte. Die Hütte wird heute nicht mehr genutzt, aber Reparaturen haben dazu beigetragen, dass die Struktur nicht einstürzte. Man kann nicht hineingehen, aber der Platz dient dennoch als guter Rastplatz.
