    Die alte Kapelle ist ungewiss. Sie befindet sich an der Stelle, an der vermutlich das Geburtshaus von Jacopo da Voragine gestanden hat.

    Sein heutiges Aussehen verdankt es Eingriffen in der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts, obwohl im Inneren noch das antike Tonnengewölbe zu erkennen ist. Die einschiffige Kirche verfügt über ein quadratisches Presbyterium und einen kleinen Glockenturm an der Fassade über der Eingangstür.

    An Wanderwegen gelegen, können Sie von hier aus in wenigen Kilometern Fußmarsch das Guardia-Heiligtum erreichen, das Varazze dominiert.
