    Die Martinikerk ist die einzige mittelalterliche Kirche in Friesland mit einem Chorumgang. Die Orgel aus dem Jahr 1842 wurde von Van Dam entworfen. Die Restaurierung zwischen 1940 und 1943 erfolgte nach Plänen von Herman van der Kloot Meijburg.

    Bei der Kirche befindet sich auch der Brunnen "die Oort’sche Wolke" - einer der 11 Brunnen in Friesland.
