    Der Point Arena Lighthouse (pointarenalighthouse.com) liegt ein paar Meilen abseits der Autobahn. Die Straße zur Point Arena ist ungeschützt, Sie können also mit einer windigen Fahrt rechnen. Der Ort wird von einer gemeinnützigen Organisation betrieben und verfügt über einen Geschenkeladen und Ferienhäuser zur Miete. Ich kam kurz vor Geschäftsschluss an und sie ließen mich ohne Eintritt zum Fuß des Leuchtturms gelangen.
