    Der Fluss fliesst friedlich durch eine wilde Felslandschaft und es gibt viele schöne Stellen für eine Rast und Abkühlung im Fluss.
    Der Abschnitt oberhalb Manzanares el Real ist gut mit dem Auto erreichbar, daher hat es immer recht viele Sonn- und Badelustige unterwegs. Weiter oberhalb ist es meist einsamer.
    Der Wanderweg entlang des Flusses verläuft durch die Ausläufer der üppigen Felslandschaft der "La Pedriza" und ist sehr empfehlenswert.
