This 2.0-mile (3.2 km) loop, with a gentle 107 feet (33 metres) of elevation gain, takes about 50 minutes to complete, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing outing. Planning your visit is straightforward, as the trail is widely regarded as an easy hike suitable for most fitness levels, including families. It is a prime location for whale watching from January to April, and you can enjoy spectacular wildflower displays in late spring and early summer. The coastal breezes keep the area comfortably cool, even during warmer months.
Bodega Head is more than just a pretty view; it is a geologically significant promontory that shelters Bodega Bay and lies near the San Andreas Fault.
