    Die Familie Della Gherardesca ließ das Gebäude in 1703 in Erinnerung an ihren Vorfahren Guido, einen Einsiedler, erbauen. Dieser lebte zwischen 11. und 12. Jahrhundert.
    Zu finden ist hier auch der Obelisk des Giosuè Carducci, der aus dem Jahre 1908 stammt. Ein Jahr nach dessen Tod wurde dieser errichtet.
    Nebenan findet sich ein schönes Lavendelfeld welches oft für Selfies genutzt wird.
    Zu finden ist beides auf der Via Aurelia direkt gegenüber der berühmten Viale dei Cipressi nach Bolgerie.
