    Die Schlackenhalde ist für Fußgänger zugänglich. Er besteht aus zwei Wegen: einer umrundet die Stätte und der andere erreicht den Gipfel. Achtung, steiler Aufstieg (Höhenunterschied ± 70m). Der GR412, der Weitwanderweg Halde, führt über einen Teil der Schleife am Fuße der Halde.
