    Swithland Wood (direkt gegenüber der Straße auf der Nordseite des Bradgate Park gelegen) war eine der ersten Veräußerungen des Bradgate Estate durch die Familie Grey im Jahr 1921. Es wurde von einem örtlichen Holzhändler gekauft, der einen Großteil des Holzes fällte.
