    Auf dem Hauptplatz der Stadtstruktur von Tavertet finden wir die Kirche Sant Cristòfol (oder San Cristóbal).
    Das erste Dokument, in dem dieses Gebäude erwähnt wird, stammt aus dem Jahr 1070.
    Ursprünglich hatte sie nur ein einziges Kirchenschiff und eine halbkreisförmige Apsis, der ein großer Presbyterium vorausging. Der Glockenturm wurde zwischen dem 12. und 13. Jahrhundert erbaut.
    Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts wurde die Kirche San Cristóbal de Tavertet restauriert.
