Es wurde 1206 von Minamono no Sanetomo, dem dritten Shogun des Kamakura-Shogunats, erbaut. Das heutige Schreingebäude wurde 1976 wieder aufgebaut.
Dieser Schrein ist der Göttin der drei Schwestern gewidmet und kann die Figur in der geschnitzten Holztafel über der vorderen Tür sehen.
Ein „Chinowa“-Grasrad [茅の輪] wird vor dem Schrein aufgestellt, um die Gläubigen zu reinigen.
