    Neben dem 101 sicher der Ort, den man in der Stadt besuchen muss. Auch wenn der Personenkult für meinen Geschmack mehr als übertrieben ist, man lernt eine Menge über die Geschichte und die damalige Zeit.

    Die monumentale "Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall" ist ein absolutes Highlight und einer der meist besuchten Orte von Taipeh. Wer hier nicht gewesen ist, der war nicht in Taipeh.

    Jede volle Stunde von 9:00-17:00 Uhr findet die bekannte und sehenswerte, 10-minütige Wachwechselzeremonie statt.

    In den unteren Etage der Memorial Hall gibt es ein Museum mit vielen Erinnerungstücken und Dokumenten an Chiang Kai-shek. Der Eintritt ist kostenlos.
