    Die Kirche des Allerheiligsten Erlösers oder Mutterkirche oder Kathedrale ist die wichtigste Kultstätte in der Gemeinde Partanna. Die ab dem 16. Jahrhundert erbaute Kirche wurde durch das Belice-Erdbeben von 1968 schwer beschädigt, anschließend wieder aufgebaut und gegen Ende der 70er Jahre wieder für den Gottesdienst geöffnet.
    Seit dem Ende des Wiederaufbaus nach dem Erdbeben wurden keine Eingriffe mehr durchgeführt. Erst im Jahr 2013 wurde mit weiteren konservativen Restaurierungsarbeiten am Gebäude begonnen, die insbesondere das Dach, das Mittelschiff und den Presbyteriumsbereich betrafen. Die Arbeiten wurden 2019 abgeschlossen.
