    Auch für Nicht-Kirchgänger ist die Kirche einen Besuch von außen und ggf. von innen wert. Am Tag unseres Besuchs war gerade eine Trauerfeier, so dass wir nicht hinein konnten. Spannend ist aber auch ein Gang über den Friedhof. Der Blick auf die Grabsteine verrät, dass vor etwa 100 Jahren sehr viele Menschen innerhalb einer sehr kurzen Zeit und zum Teil sehr jung gestorben sind. Was da wohl passiert ist?

    Sehr schöne evangelisch-lutherische Holzkirche aus dem 19 Jahrhundert. Sie steht unter Denkmalschutz und ist eine historische und kulturell bedeutsame Kirche Norwegens. Sie liegt am Rande der Altstadt Nordfjordeits, am Ende der Einkaufsstraße Eidsgata. Sie kann auch von Innen besichtigt werden, allerdings nicht täglich geöffnet. Ein großer alter Friedhof schließt sich an.
