    Das Old State House wurde im Jahr 1713 erbaut und ist damit das älteste noch stehende öffentliche Gebäude in Boston. Es war bis 1798 der Regierungssitz von Massachusetts und diente später als Rathaus von Boston. Heute ist es ein Heimatmuseum.
    Direkt vor dem Gebäude fand 1770 das sog. "Massaker" von Boston statt.
