    Wandern

The direct walk from the Plan des Artiguetes car park to Salto del Pish Waterfall is generally considered short and easy, suitable for families and visitors of all ages. It's a gentle path designed for accessibility.

However, the Varradòs valley offers a variety of other hiking opportunities. You can find longer, more challenging routes that explore the surrounding beech and fir forests, ravines, and other natural points of interest. These trails can involve greater elevation changes and more rugged terrain.

What are the specific dimensions or features of Salto del Pish Waterfall?

Salto del Pish is characterized by its impressive multi-tiered descent. The main and most spectacular drop ranges from 15 to 20 meters, with a second, smaller cascade below it measuring around 5 meters. Some sources suggest a total height of up to 35 meters. The waterfall is set within a natural amphitheater of lush forests, with its waters originating from the Llac Long de Liat, flowing through underground channels before emerging here.

Is Salto del Pish Waterfall accessible by public transport?

Direct public transport to Salto del Pish Waterfall is not readily available. The most common way to reach the waterfall is by car from Vielha, following the N-230 road and then a paved forest track.
