    Notre Dame d'Etang ist eines der wichtigsten Marienheiligtümer in Burgund und der höchste Punkt der Metropole Dijon. Das Gebäude auf dem Mount Africa liegt auf einer Höhe von 600 Metern. Der Ort bietet auch sehr schöne Ausblicke auf die Umgebung.

    Eine erste Kapelle wurde hier bereits im 15. Jh. errichtet und war Ziel vieler, teils auch berühmter Pilger. Sie wurde in den Jahren der Französischen Revolution zerstört. Die heutige Kapelle wurde zwischen 1877-1896 gebaut und musste aufgrund der Witterung mehrmals renoviert werden, zuletzt 2020.
