    Die Vittorio-Sella-Hütte ist ein ausgezeichneter Rastpunkt. Die zahlreichen Wege rundherum sind angenehm und machen Spaß. Sie können auch viele Wildtiere beobachten.

    Im Sommer 1850 erkundete der junge Vittorio Emanuele II. das Champorcher-Tal und entwickelte während einer Expedition nach Cogne eine Leidenschaft für die Jagd. Seitdem förderte der König die Anlage von Jagdwegen und Jagdhütten rund um den Gran Paradiso. Die Jagdtradition wurde mit Umberto I. und Vittorio Emanuele III. fortgeführt, doch später wurde der Park zum Naturschutzgebiet und die Lauson-Alpenhütte wurde 1922 Vittorio Sella, dem berühmten Fotografen, Bergsteiger und Entdecker aus Biella, gewidmet.

    Geöffnet von Mitte März bis Ende September. Bar, Restaurant und rund 200 Betten. Eine sehr schöne Schutzhütte mitten im Naturpark Grand Paradiso mit vielen Wildtieren in der Umgebung, wie Murmeltieren, Gämsen und dem berühmten Steinbock!
