    Von den Ruinen der Kirche gibt es einen Weg, der nicht für MTB geeignet ist, es sei denn, Sie möchten Fahrradsteigen und Ihr Fahrrad auf dem Rücken tragen. Mein Freund und ich hielten am zweiten steilen Hang mitten in den Bäumen an. Mit dem E-Bike war das Zurückfahren sehr anstrengend, da der steile Hang aus Kieselsteinen bestand und praktisch vertikal war. Siehe Fotos.

    Das unverwechselbare Profil des alten Glockenturms ragt aus dem dichten Busch auf der Spitze des Settefonti-Hügels hervor.
    Es ist Teil der bemerkenswerten, vom Park restaurierten Ruinen der Pfarrei S. Maria aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, die sich im Zentrum eines befestigten mittelalterlichen Dorfes befindet, von dem noch Spuren der Mauern erhalten sind.

    Die Kirche und der hohe Glockenturm wurden durch die Folgen des Zweiten Weltkriegs schwer beschädigt. Jetzt sind nur noch wenige imposante Ruinen von ihnen übrig. Der Komplex wurde 1691 auf den Überresten eines bereits bestehenden religiösen Gebäudes errichtet.
