    Ford Spijkerboor, im Sommer sonntags geöffnet. Dieses Fort ist Teil der Verteidigungslinie von Amsterdam, einem Gürtel von 45 Forts in einem großen Bogen um Amsterdam. Die Stellung wurde zwischen 1880 und 1920 errichtet. Fort Spijkerboor ist eines der modernsten und hat einen doppelläufigen Geschützturm. Von dort konnte man bis zu 10 km weit schießen. Der Turm kann nur im Rahmen einer Führung besichtigt werden (online anmelden!) Das Fort kann an offenen Sonntagen auch eigenständig besichtigt werden (€ 3,50)
