    Eggerslack Wood ist ein atmosphärisches und ruhiges Waldgebiet mit hervorragenden Ausblicken auf die Hügel des südlichen Lakeland. Ein Labyrinth öffentlicher Fußwege erkundet den wunderschönen Wald, in dessen Efeu-Stechpalme und Farnen noch einige einheimische Bäume stehen.

    Das Holz ist von Grange im Süden und Cartmel im Westen leicht zu erreichen und wird oft mit einem Spaziergang zum Outlying Wainwright-Gipfel von Hampsfell auf 222 m kombiniert.
