    Trotz seiner Schönheit hat Seaton Delaval Hall eine traurige Geschichte. Weder Baumeister noch Erstbesitzer erlebten die Fertigstellung im Jahr 1728. Der Saal wurde nur zeitweise bewohnt und 1822 von einem Brand verwüstet.

    Seitdem steht das Haus leer. Heute wird es vom National Trust verwaltet. Es gibt ein schönes Café und Gärten. Der Eintritt kostet 8 € pro Erwachsenem. Sie können von Mittwoch bis Sonntag von 10 bis 17 Uhr besuchen.
