    Die Klausener Hütte liegt auf einer Höhe von 1.923 m inmitten der Weiden der Klausener Alm, im Gemeindegebiet von Klausen (BZ). Es liegt am Fuße der Lorenzer Spitze, in den östlichen Sarntaler Bergen. Ursprünglich ein einfaches Gebäude, das als Berghütte genutzt wurde, gehört es seit 1924 der CAI-Sektion Bozen, die es in den 1950er Jahren restaurierte.

    Es ist sowohl in der Sommersaison (von Mai bis Oktober) als auch in der Wintersaison (von Dezember bis März) geöffnet. Vom Parkplatz Kühhof in ca. 1 Stunde bequem erreichbar, ist es ein klassischer Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg zum Latzfonser Kreuz.
