    Die schwebende Treppe besteht aus rostfreiem Cortenstahl, dessen Farbe an das Erbe des Eisensandsteins erinnert.

    Der Vlooyberg-Turm ist über 20 m lang und 11 m hoch.

    Die Aussichtstreppe befindet sich an einer der höchsten Stellen, etwa 80 m, im Hageland.

    Bei klarem Wetter können Sie vom Turm im Westen die Kühltürme von Electrabel in Vilvoorde und die Schächte der Limburger Kohlengruben im Osten sehen.

    Die Gesamthöhe des Turms beträgt 11,28 Meter und die Höhe der obersten Plattform beträgt 10,08 Meter. Die höchste Brüstung beträgt 1,20 Meter. Oben hat die Brüstung Sichtlöcher für die Kinder. Die Breite der Treppe beträgt 150 Zentimeter. Die maximale Belastbarkeit beträgt 400 Kilogramm pro Quadratmeter.
